This week is the first week of Centerfield Cinema, where The Roxy Theater in Missoula is teaming up with Ogren Park to show movies every Thursday night over the summer. This'll be the first time that movies have been shown publicly in Missoula in just about three months, so it's pretty exciting for people like me who've desperately missed being at the movie theater.

When they made the announcement, they revealed that Prince's Purple Rain would be the first movie shown, but they hadn't made anything official for the rest of the summer yet. Now, they've unveiled a couple more on the list to take us through June.

First off, on June 18th, they're showing an all-time adventure movie classic, 1985's The Goonies, and I don't see the entire stadium doing the Truffle Shuffle, I'm going to be very disappointed.

After that, on June 25th, they'll be showing Mean Girls - and as soon as I saw the news, I picked up my phone to tell my girlfriend about it, only to discover that she had already bought tickets. So yeah, my guess is that'll be a big one too.

It's a great selection for the first couple of weeks, and I'm eager to see what other movies get the Centerfield Cinema treatment. Is there anything you're really hoping to see?
