When it comes to something fun, it feels like Ogren Park has turned into the place to hold an event. Of course they play baseball there.....maybe you've been following along with the PaddleHeads and their claim to the best record in the league through the first half of the season. But thinking about all the other ways they've used the park over the last couple of years - they've had a concert, at least one beer festival, they've turned the field into an ongoing movie theater, done yoga sessions, and welcomed golfers to hit balls of the main concourse level. All of that, and I'm probably forgetting a thing or two on the list. What else can we figure out how to hold at Ogren Park?

Cornhole has become quite the craze - bbq's, backyards, leagues and tournaments. And is there really a better activity out there? It's fun, it's easy, it doesn't take much time to play, and you can play with a beer in your hand the entire game. One upcoming event that should be pretty fun, will get you down onto the field at Ogren Park to test your beanbag tossing skill!. But if you want to take part in this pretty cool cornhole tournament - you have to get registered by this Friday (7/23.)

The 1st Annual Dubbers Care Cornhole Tournament happens on August 4th. It'll include all you can eat BBQ for just $15, beverages available for purchase, and a bounce house and inflatables for the kids. The top three teams will walk away with prizes. $50 gets you entered with a team of two.

You can find the details for registering HERE.

Proceeds from the tournament help Dubbers Care Foundation - a 501 (c)(3) local charity with a mission to support Western Montana families by offering housing assistance due to an emergency or financial crisis. Visit Dubbers Care Foundation on Facebook HERE.
