For many people in Montana there is only one question on their mind. When are we going to start seeing some rain? We just got the 2-month weather forecast from The Old Farmer's Almanac and this is what they are predicting.

SEPTEMBER 2017: temperature 60° (2° below avg.); precipitation 1.5" (0.5" above avg.); Sep 1-7: T-storms, then sunny, cool; Sep 8-14: Isolated t-storms, warm; Sep 15-22: Sunny, cool; Sep 23-30: Sunny north, t-storms south; warm.

OCTOBER 2017: temperature 50° (1° below avg.); precipitation 2" (1" above avg.); Oct 1-8: A few showers, mild; Oct 9-17: Sunny, nice north; rainy periods, cool south; Oct 18-25: Rain to snow, then sunny, cold; Oct 26-31: Rainy periods, mild north; sunny, cool south.

What this is saying is that we should be expecting thunderstorms throughout the rest of our month of September then in October we should see a mix of sun and rain.

I don't like the sound of September with all the wild fires already burning it would be nice to not have anymore get started but the rain in October sounds nice.
