RuPaul’s Drag Race Welcomes Its First Contestant from Montana
Exciting news for Montana fans of the reality competition show RuPaul's Drag Race - we've got a homegrown contestant to root for this season! Great Falls drag performer Bosco has been selected as a competitor for Season 14, which premieres this Friday, January 7th on VH1, see their "Meet the Queens" interview in the post below.
In this Emmy Award-winning series hosted by RuPaul, America's most sickening queens compete in fashion and performance challenges in hopes of snatching the crown as the next drag superstar.
According to a fantastic write-up in the Great Falls Tribune, Christopher Constantino comes from a family of entertainers with parents who are members of the Air Force. They grew up in Great Falls and currently live in Seattle where there is, as you can imagine, much more opportunity for a drag performer. Christopher's stage name is Bosco and they said they've received "a lot of love and support from Great Falls," which warmed my heart.
Prior to being cast on Drag Race, Bosco had around 3,000 followers on Instagram, as of today, they've got 44.9 thousand, so the word is out about this amazingly talented competitor! On VH1's official page for the show, Bosco is described as witty and a fierce competitor.
Don't let her laid-back Seattle grunge vibe fool you -- this fiercely competitive queen is all about femme fatale glamour. With her razor-sharp wit and an impressive arsenal of drag talents, Bosco will stop at nothing to bring the crown home to Seattle.
GO BOSCO!! We'll be cheering them on for sure!
