Free Open Studio for Missoula’s Teen Artists
Your kids may have heard about this at the end of the school year but forgot as summer got underway.
The Missoula Art Museum hosts a free open studio for teen artists every Wednesday! There are still opportunities to take advantage of this fun summer offering: tonight 7/24, 7/31, 8/7 and 8/14. All sessions are held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the MAM is at 335 North Pattee Street, across from the downtown post office.
All materials are free, there's no entry fee and there are 2 professional artists and mentors on hand to teach, share and support your teen artists. It's a very informal environment and teens can bring in their own artwork or use materials in the classroom to make their own creations.
This is a unique opportunity for teens interested in visual art. Check out everything the MAM has to offer this summer here.
