All your favorite authors are there ... probably. The Friends of the Bitterroot Public Library have one more day of their "Book Giveaway Extravaganza" in the meeting room of the Hamilton library on State Street.

The support group of the library has a very popular autumn book sale from private collections each year. But they collect books for that sale throughout the preceding months. And already, they've run out of storage room. Hence, the giveaway. The books are in boxes on the floor of the library's meeting room, but some are on a few shelves. I saw lots of popular mysteries by authors like Patterson, Grafton and Berry. But the real treasures are in the boxes - all genres of fiction and non-fiction, old and new. The last day of the "non-sale" is 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Saturday.
