So I was scrolling through Twitter today, and I noticed an interesting trending topic: Red Rocks. Hey, I've been to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado once! So I clicked to see why it was trending - and it turns out that it was actually the result of a prompt from Airborne Toxic Event lead singer Mikel Jollett.

He's asking people what the best spot is in the entire country to see live music, and his pick was the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. But it looks like enough people responded with Red Rocks that it actually became a trending topic on Twitter.

Now I've never been to the Greek Theatre, and Red Rocks is awesome, but I couldn't help but think about Missoula's live music scene, and how we've got so many cool places to see music, like The Wilma, The Top Hat, Big Sky Amphitheater, and the Adams Center. But I figured if I was going to pick just one to represent this town, it would have to be the Kettlehouse Amphitheater (even though it's technically located in Bonner, still counts). When I first moved to Missoula, I was blown away by the Kettlehouse. Such a beautiful spot, nestled right in the mountains, right near the river - plus they typically bring in some pretty great bands, which doesn't hurt either. I actually saw one or two other people mention the Kettlehouse in the replies, and I threw it out there myself, too.

So now it's on you! Can we get Kettlehouse trending to compete with Red Rocks and win this Twitter prompt? (As a sidenote: man, I really miss live music. Here's hoping we can get back to the Kettlehouse sooner rather than later.)
