Montana has held glorious adventures for me for over a decade now. Since I began my life in the pacific northwest, there’s no doubt I was raised to be a nature lover. Throughout the summers I can be found paddling my geriatric dog around alpine lakes. When the snow falls, I board it. I’ve learned a lot in my time in this great state. I began my education in conservation biology at MSU in Bozeman and landed years later in UM’s journalism program. Good thing, because I’m not very skilled in a lab setting, but I do think hearing the stories of other people is some of the most important learning we, as humans, can do.
