It's amazing how a book published in 1943 has endured the test of time to bring insight and, indeed, continued popularity in the current time. "The Little Prince" was written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery and adapted for the stage by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar. The Hamilton Players have produced it for the Bitterroot Valley audience and it will play two weekends only.

The play features Rachel Devine as The Aviator, who discovers the Little Prince, played by Knox Pruitt, in the desert. The show is presented on a simple but memorable set and the story, as I just said, is one for the ages. The play opens Friday, August 16 at 8 p.m. It will be on stage Saturday, August 17 at 8 p.n. and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Next weekend, August 23-25, the same schedule. Tickets and more information at the Hamilton Players website.
