It's another activity during the Saturday Hamilton Farmers Market at the Ravalli County Museum at South 3rd and Bedford. A 30-foot-long mural is on display Saturdays during the market (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and the public is invited to help complete it. The mountain scenery includes a forest of trees along the length of the picture, but quite a few of the trees are unfinished. Last Saturday a few of them were filled in by volunteers, but more remain ghostly white. The brushes and the paint colors are provided and all ages are welcome, but the kids probably will like doing it the most.

The Ravalli County Museum has re-opened its indoor displays in Phase Two of Montana's opening of "Stay At Home." And they are practicing social distancing, have extra cleaning, and when you visit they have wash stations when you check in. Of course, wearing masks is appreciated inside the museum. Coming up later this month, Glacial Lake Missoula will be the topic of an outdoor panel display around the newly placed "glacial erratic" boulder in the museum lawn. More on that later!
