Growing up, I could have sworn that my Mom was the best Wheel of Fortune player EVER. We would watch every day before she would make dinner. She would solve the puzzle before they even had time to put 2 letters on the board. It would blow my mind. It is just too bad she has never auditioned to be on the show, as she would probably "mop the floor" with the competition.

Wheel of Fortune has been on the air for nearly 50 years. But, Pat Sajak has been hosting the show since 1981. It was slightly different then. The show as we know it now has been on the air since 1983.

According to Wikipedia

Wheel of Fortune ranks as the longest-running syndicated game show in the United States, with 7,000 episodes taped and aired as of May 10, 2019. TV Guide named it the "top-rated syndicated series" in a 2008 article, and in 2013, the magazine ranked it at No. 2 in its list of the 60 greatest game shows ever.

It is safe to say that Montana has been in Wheel of Fortune puzzles multiple times over the years. But, this past Friday, Montana was featured as one of the first puzzles on the show. It is the portion of the show, where the contestants battle it out to see who gets $1,000 and the first spin of the wheel. The segment of the show is called "The Toss-Up."

The category was "On the Map."

It would clearly be easy for any of us Montanans to have guessed that one. My mom would have had the puzzle solved before Vanna White even got a chance to reveal a letter.
