Back in the olden days of 2020, it felt like every story we wrote was nothing but cancellations. All of our favorite events in Missoula were either cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled - but in 2021, we've seen these things start to return, and it has been exciting.

One of Missoula's favorite annual events that didn't get to happen last year is the Summer MADE Fair, which features vendors from all around Montana bringing their own handmade arts and crafts. And now, the Summer MADE Fair is set to make its return to Missoula, taking place at Caras Park this Sunday, August 22nd, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Entry is totally free, and there will be food there for purchase as well. If you check it out, you'll be seeing works from over 165 artists all throughout the region. You can check out more info about the Summer MADE Fair at HandMADE Montana's website. They've also got upcoming events in Bozeman and Helena.

And by the time we get to next year's Summer MADE Fair, things could be looking pretty different at Caras Park. The city is planning to renovate the area starting in the fall to turn it into more of a year-round event space - so if you're nostalgic for the park the way it is right now, you may want to check this out to add one more memory before the changes kick in.

Think you'll be heading out to the Summer MADE Fair this year after being unable to go in 2020?
