"It's A Wonderful Life" is not only the story with the best message of the holiday season, but also an important life lesson any time of year. As much as I love "Elf," the 1946 version of "It's A Wonderful Life" is the greatest Christmas movie of all time.

During the pandemic year, theaters across the country have moved to "radio plays" since they can't perform together on stage for an audience. Missoula's own Good Knight Theater Company of Hellgate High School has been performing radio plays, which are just like old timey radio shows that you listen to instead of watch. The Missoula Community Theater will be presenting their radio play version of "It's A Wonderful Life" to stream at home for the holidays.

"This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve."

Once you pay, you can enjoy the livestream anytime between December 10th and 20th, make your purchase and get more info here. And if you're looking for something nice for your grandparents, in-laws, or parents who have everything, a donation to the Missoula Community Theater and their name is a kind gesture for the community, you can do so here. Or, if you're looking to do some local holiday shopping, check out this pop up shop going on every weekend 'til Christmas!
