A fun weekend of pride and baseball is coming up in Missoula! All Nations Health Center and the Missoula PaddleHeads invite all to their Indigenous Heritage Celebration Weekend at Ogren Park on Friday & Saturday, August 13th and 14th.

On Friday the 13th, the PaddleHeads play the Great Falls Voyagers, and there will be a Native Grand Entry with drumming, singing, and dancers performing. Indigenous artists and community partners will also be on site for a fun celebration! Grand Entry is at 6 p.m. with the first pitch at 7 p.m.

On Saturday the 14th, the day begins with the 3rd annual 5K Fun Run & Walk, followed by the 2nd annual N8VZ Got Talent show. Gates open at 7 a.m. for the 5K, with the race starting at 8 a.m. The talent show will be at Ogren Park at 7 p.m. Pre-registration for the 5K and talent show are highly encouraged and all talents are welcome! Whether you're a rapper, magician, you play an instrument, or maybe you're a stand up comic, you'll have up to 5 minutes to show us whatcha got and win prizes for first place in each category. The same week, All Nations will be back at the Western Montana Fair for the annual MMIW benefit at PRCA Xtreme Bulls rodeo on Wednesday, August 11th, the first day of the Fair.  "In honor of the inaugural First Nations Family Day, the first night of the Western Montana Fair is dedicated to creating awareness of Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women (MMIW) in our community. 20% of ticket sales benefit MMIW."
