The housing market in Missoula continues to be red hot. Even though the rising interest rates are starting to limit some buyers on how much they can afford, it does appear that Missoula and Ravalli county housing inventory has increased slightly. But, the prices of homes still remain high. That is not stopping buyers from rushing to buy a home. This is why realtors have to keep up on their cardio.

For most of 2020 and 2021, the Montana housing markets were seeing properties being bought up sight unseen. People from out of the market were so desperate to purchase homes that they didn't even bother to look at the home. If they did want to look at the home, it required getting in line. Homes in the area were getting dozens of showings each day. The more showings that happen the more offers the house would get. The more offers a house would get, the more the price war would launch the price well over the asking price. I have even heard of relators having "a music festival-style gathering in the neighborhood of the newly listed home." People lining up down the block waiting to view the home

With so many people anxious to view the homes, it is the realtor's job to get as many showings in as possible. Meaning they needed to squeeze as many as they could into their day. This is why the following TikTok is so hilarious. Watch as a realtor takes his client on a quick 30-second tour of a newly listed home.
