Hamilton to Dispose of Citizens’ Unwanted Junk
So, you haven't parked your car in the garage for years ... because of all the clutter.
Not to worry! If you're a Hamilton resident or business owner, the city will be conducting a "City Wide Junk Cleanup" Friday and Saturday, June 16 and June 17.
The Public Works crew and personnel from Bitterroot Disposal will be at the city parking lot on North 4th Street, across Pinckney Street from the U.S. Post Office.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, they will be accepting such things as electrical devices (TVs, computers, small household appliances), furniture, washers and driers, certified "Freon-free" refrigerators and freezers, old mowers, posts, junk metals and more.
You will be required to prove you live in the city or own a city business. Bring along a sewer/ water bill, a property tax statement or rental agreement.
If you have questions, call the Hamilton Public Works Department at 363-6717.
Just think ... you'll be able to park your car IN the garage!
