In their second football game of the Class A high school season, the Hamilton Broncs defeated Columbia Falls in the north country by a score of 35 to 24. The Broncs and the Wildcats were tied early in the game, but at the end of the first quarter, Columbia Falls led 14 to 7. But Hamilton came right back and tied the game again 14 to 14. A Columbia Falls field goal brought a halftime score of 17 to 14 in favor of the Wildcats. But the second half was Hamilton's game. After another Columbia Falls TD, the Broncs had 21 unanswered points and an interception of a C.Falls pass with a minute left brought about the final score: Hamilton 35 Columbia Falls 24.

Next week, Hamilton is on the road again, with a game at Arrowhead Stadium in Browning. The team will return home September 14 with a game against Polson at Haynes Field.
