Great Grey Owl in a Quiet Flight Near Hamilton
You may have heard owls hooting at night recently. It's the time when owls are on the lookout for partners with a "family plan." In an unrelated story, a Great Gray Owl got into some rodent poison this fall west of Hamilton and a group of neighbors got the owl to Judy Hoy, who rehabilitated the bird and released it into the wild, near where it was found. The big bird likes the area and many of the residents have been lucky enough to snap photos of the wild bird.
