Fitz and the Tantrums Drummer Hiring a Baker, Bernice’s Too

Sounds like Missoula is experiencing a some kind of baker shortage. John Wicks, drummer for party band Fitz and the Tantrums and owner of Missoula's Drum Coffee Roasters, is in search of a baker. Bernice's Bakery has also been in search of a baker for quite some time. Do you have experience baking breads and desserts?

Drum Coffee is asking for a full-time "badass baker with a penchant for international flavors," and the ask, "are you excited and adept at using flavor combinations from all over the world, not just your standard muffins and scones?" If so, Drum encourages those who are interested in their baker's position to drop off a resume "ASAP" with Jenny or Darian at their 1000 East Broadway location. That's the café across from Albertsons. How rad would it be to work for Jenna and John Wicks?  Good peeps.

Bernice's is still advertising for a baker as well, and they definitely need someone who loves being up in the morning. Their shift is from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. five days per week, including holidays and weekends. You've likely been to Bernice's a time or two, and can imagine what a fun, fast-paced environment it is to work. You've also probably enjoyed their brownies, cookies, cheesecake, and lemon bars - those are the types of things you would be baking. Fun Fact: back in the day, a female baker was called a "bakester." I believe all bakers now prefer to be called pastry chefs.
