Electronic Americana Show Coming to Missoula
There are an endless number of musical genres, nothing is off the table, you wanna mix punk with soul, classic country with techno, gospel with ska, get it on. For this eclectic show, it's electronic with Americana. Dirtwire is your chance to witness experimental music made from a variety of uncommon musical instruments. Their website says they play "West African kamale ngonis, jaw harps, space fiddles, whamola basses, Rickenbacher electric 12 string guitars, bowed Banjos and mouth harps from around the globe, all interwoven into modern laptop beat creation." Space fiddles you guys. I know they've also got a melodica or two, guitarjo, and a megaphone. Sounds like an interesting time, right? There's a video below so that you can see and hear what Dirtwire are all about.
