Eagles Fly in Formation

How often have you seen two male eagles flying together - and behaving? At the Lee Matcalf National wildlife Refuge, photographer Mike Daniels saw one of these eagles starting to harass an osprey that had just gathered up a fish (see photo below). Then, along came another eagle and the osprey escaped while the two eagles decided to fly off together - making a slow pass over Mike, who grabbed a great in-flight photo. (photo below).
