Two classic bands will co-headline a Missoula concert June 7th at Ogren Park. The Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan have included Missoula on their "Summer of Living Dangerously" North American concert tour, with tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 9. The bands had earlier planned to play in Spokane June 7th, but instead added the Missoula venue.

Steely Dan's Walter Becker died last year, but the rest of the band, including Donald Fagen, will be on the outdoor stage. Original members of the Doobie Brothers will be performing, too.

We don't need to list all the music these folks made famous through the years, but here are a few, anyway. Doobie Brothers - China Grove, Black Water, Listen to the Music, Minute by Minute, Long Train Running, Dangerous, What a Fool Believes. Steely Dan - Rikki Don't Lose That Number, Do It Again, Reelin' in the Years, Peg, Deacon Blues, Hey Nineteen.

Two classic bands on the same night. Not bad! Tickets for the show go on sale at the MSO Hub, located at 140 N Higgins in downtown Missoula and by phone at (406) 543-3300 on Friday, March 9 at 10 a.m.
