This Saturday is Earth Day, and what better way to recognize the day than pitching in to help clean up the Clark Fork River.

The Clark Fork Coalition invites you and your family to Caras Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to make a real impact on the health of our local river. Last year, more than 700 volunteers cleaned up 4,000 pounds of trash and 651 pounds of recyclables from a 15 mile stretch of the river.

It's not all work, there will be a free BBQ lunch and raffles for prizes. Plus, your friends and neighbors will be there, so it's a great way to catch up and visit. Consider getting a team together or bring the family, and call Liz at 542-0539 extension 213 or email liz@clarkfork.org to sign up.
