Remember in the mid-'90s when swing music came back in a big way? Well, one of the bands at the forefront of that revival was Big Bad Voodoo Daddy - they were so huge at one point that they actually played the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Stevie Wonder and Gloria Estefan. For real. That's a real thing that happened.

So I was surprised to learn that Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is actually in Montana this weekend and this was the first I was hearing about it! I actually really like these guys, but I'm gonna be chilling at Under the Big Sky Fest all weekend long, so unfortunately I'll be missing out on this one.

But you don't have to! Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will be playing at the Daly Mansion in Hamilton on Saturday, July 13th for a show sponsored by the Biterroot Performing Arts Council. Here's the info from their Facebook event page:

"Big Bad VooDoo Daddy returns to the Bitterroot Valley to benefit the Daly Hospital Foundation as they raise funds to help purchase the DaVinci Robotics System for MDMH's new Surgery Center. Connecting to the hospital's namesake, the outdoor concert on the grounds of the Daly Mansion will be breathtaking and celebratory of BBVD's 25th anniversary tour. Big Bad VooDoo Daddy is being presented by the Daly Hospital Foundation and is partnering with the Bitterroot Performing Arts Center to promote this outdoor concert. The box office for the Bitterroot Performing Arts Council is open Tuesday & Thursday from 11 am to 5pm. We recommend that you purchase your ticket during those business hours or online through this event announcement."

Will you be checking this one out?
