If you've been by the water this month, you've probably seen a dragonfly ... or two ... or more.

The four wings allow the insect lots of maneuverability. We humans appreciate that, because dragonflies like to eat mosquitoes. Eat up, guys!

You'll sometimes see two dragonflies flying "united." Yes, that's part of the mating flights. Interesting articles on the web about that.

Their huge eyes allow them to see everywhere, except directly behind, according to dragonflywebsite.com. The dragonflies are into feasting this time of year. They are usually out of our air space in October, coming back in the spring.
