60 Degree Day on the Bitterroot in January Fly Fishing
It was a beautiful day in the Bitterroot valley yesterday! Warm day, fly fishing and fish on makes for a great day off.
It was 65 degrees where I was on the Root in the Hamilton area yesterday, I couldn't believe it. dry flying would have been good I think, but instead decided to nymph. There were a lot of people out I was surprised. A few old guys Whitefishing at the bridge and lots of dog owners.
We used San Juan's, and pheasant tails, and copper johns and had some luck. Look at the colors on this fish?!
