Get yourself a mega pint of milk ready because the One Chip Challenge is now available at your local Montana convenience store.

So get this. The other day I'm shopping around my local Holiday gas station and there sits a huge display featuring the Paqui one chip challenge. An old nemesis of mine. I don't know why, but I love super hot sauces and spicy foods. I tried this challenge many years ago, and I'm here to tell you, it lives up to the hype.

Now before we get into the what and where I need to make a disclaimer here. I am in NO WAY urging you to try this challenge. I am merely here to inform you.

So, what is the One Chip Challenge? It's pretty self-explanatory. The chip company Paqui boxes up one large tortilla chip in coffin shaped container. The chip itself is covered in a powder made from Carolina Reaper Pepper and Scorpion Pepper. The idea is to eat the chip and suffer through the pain without any help from water, milk, etc. Some people even go a step further and challenge you to not make any facial expressions that would indicate you just licked the foot of Satan.

Why is this kind of a big deal? When when the chip/challenge first was introduced you could only get it via the Paqui website, and within a few months, they gained a huge following and thousands were trying this insane trend. Fast forward and the chips were all sold out and there was no announcement of them coming back. The only place you could get them was on eBay and they were going for up to $60 for one chip!

Now you're local Holiday stores, CVS, and Natural Grocers here in Missoula are selling them. Peep the store locater here.  They are running about $9 for one chip, which is a lot, but you definitely don't want more than one.

I'm going to get with K.C and see if he's got the stones to try this on the air with me. In the meantime, check out my favorite reaction video of two news anchors doing it live and see why it's so gnarly.
