The Interrupters are ready to break into your regular daytime monotony and pick up your spirits a bit with their rocked up cover of pop star Billie Eilish's recent hit "Bad Guy."

The group is among the many who've been captured by the incredibly catchy song, so much so that they've included it as a cover on their summer touring. Now they've gone into the studio to make a proper recording.

“We were covering Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy’ while on tour all summer,” explains vocalist Aimee Interrupter. “When we had the chance to do this session at Ship-Rec Studios in Los Angeles we thought it would be the perfect song because it’s so fun to play live! We are big fans of Billie and Finneas’s songwriting... What a breath of fresh air for music! Here it is captured live in one take, we hope we did it justice.”

The Interrupters have burst onto the rock scene the last two years, finding their breakthrough with the single "She's Kerosene." They just landed another prime spot to add to their momentum, being named as the opening act for the "Hella Mega" tour in 2020. The trek that was announced last week will feature a tri-headline bill of Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy. Dates for the run can be found below, along with the band's fall tour plans.
