Hood's Western Adventures in Alberton is inviting families to enjoy their ranch for the holidays. I can tell you this much, I never knew just how beautiful the holidays at a ranch could be until I visited a local ranch about a decade ago during Christmas. It looks like those Lifetime movies where some city girl falls in love with a guy in a tractor. Seriously though, a Montana ranch during the holidays is about the most beautiful thing a fan of Christmas can experience.

The Hood's Western Adventures family are a local, family owned and operated horseback riding business in Alberton. They mainly offer guided horse rides, boarding and lessons. They are known to happily customize trips for guests to ensure a perfect and unforgettable ride.

The family are inviting the public to their ranch this Sunday, December 13th starting at 1 p.m. for a "western" Christmas with Santa. There will be horseback rides, pictures with Santa, hot chocolate, and a fire pit! The event is free to attend, however horseback rides will be $10 per person and includes picture with Santa. You can also do a family photo with Santa for $5, and children 3 and under are free. Masks will be required, they ask that you please social distance from other groups, which shouldn't be too difficult as they have lots of room to spread out. They are saying masks can be removed for pictures and cocoa sipping only.

Sounds like an amazing way to enjoy some old fashioned Montana holiday fun to close out this horrid year!
