Missoula County Sheriff T.J. McDermott said late Monday night that deputies are tracking a suspect involved in over a dozen thefts and a burglary in Lolo.

One of the suspects was apprehended on Monday and is currently in the Missoula County Detention Center

A press release states that another suspect, 19 year-old Treylind James Lafley is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Deputies executed a search warrant in the area behind West Riverside in Bonner where residents in a home told deputies that Lafley had fled on foot.

Last night, a sheriff’s office K-9 and several deputies were in the area searching for Lafley, and authorities were asking that residents in the area secure their vehicles and residences until otherwise notified.

Because Lafley is considered armed and dangerous, the public is urged to not approach him, but to immediately notify 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity.

As of 12:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Lafley was still at large.
