To mirror President Bodnar's sentiments, YOU DID IT!! Whether you have taken your final final and have wrapped up the semester, or, you're one of 1700 graduates who are bidding the U of M farewell this Saturday, you did it. Phew. That was a lot of caffeine, tears, time management, and stress. But also a lot of fun, right!? And you can claim to have survived attending college in person and via distance learning during a pandemic, not too many people can lay claim to that.

Heading into graduation weekend, U of M President Seth Bodnar has shared an email and video congratulating those picking up a diploma this Saturday, May 1st, and offered some insight into what school should look like this fall for returning students. He says that the U of M is fully preparing for a "return to normal," adding, "our campus will once again be the vibrant, energetic place that we all love so much." So it sounds like your days of logging into Zoom and turning off your video while you eat cereal and work on other projects is coming to an end. The good news is, no more breakout rooms. But for real, it will be nice to get back into the classroom for in person instruction, some face-to-face interaction with peers, and enjoying the beauty of our campus. You can see President Bodnar's short video below.

Two outdoor, in-person, socially distanced Spring 2021 commencements will be held Saturday, May 1st at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. CONGRATS GRADS!!
