One of Missoula’s Favorite Bars is Reopening
Hooray! It's so much more fun to share the reopening of local businesses, rather than the constant closures of 2020. The Union Club, Missoula's favorite place to dance and play pool, is reopening on Thursday, April 15th at 11 a.m.! We love the Union Club, and clearly so do you, their reopening announcement is getting a lot of shares.
We actually parked at the Union Club last week when we stayed at the new AC Hotel downtown, and it was depressing to see the door locked and the lights out at 9 p.m. on a Friday night. John, the owner of the Union Club, is beyond excited to reopen and says they have sanitized the entire space, and even had a chance to catch up on some repairs and painting during their voluntary closure.
Missoulians have voted the Union Club "best place to dance" 17 years running, plus, "best pool table," and in 2020, "best karaoke bar" in the Missoulian Best of Missoula awards. And don't forget, they've got that awesome grill, too. Their locally sourced menu includes home pressed french fries, cut fresh daily, tasty and filling cheeseburgers, made-in-house soups from scratch, they have these bomb jalapeño poppers. Nothing is better than some nachos after a few beers, and they've got a Philly Cheesesteak that everyone raves about.
They'll also be booking events again soon! Everything from bands to stand up comedy. If you've never been, the Union Club is a Missoula staple with incredible bartenders and staff, affordable drinks, and John really takes pride in giving back to the community. You can find this legendary Missoula spot at 208 East Main. If you work downtown, keep them in mind for lunch!
