The owners of Missoula's Badlander bar are opening a new drinking establishment that will cater to the community's river surfing/kayaking/snowboarding crowd. It's called 'Locals Only' and will be located in the former Casa Pablo's location, which recently housed the Faceclub and Dickies restaurants at 147 West Broadway.

According to the owners, the bar will feature surf decor and street tacos and will target Missoula's outdoor enthusiasts. You can also expect to walk in to Locals Only and hear great music, much of what you hear on Missoula's Alt 101.5.

The simple menu will feature 10 different street tacos, with everything from Thai to Mediterranean, with shell options being flour, corn and non-bread or "naked." The owners of Locals Only are also excited to bring Chef Taylor, formerly of the Red Bird, on board as head chef. Taylor's past experience includes high end restaurants in the Jackson Hole area.

Twenty five cents from every menu item at Locals Only will go into a fund for Missoula's non-profits, including The Max Wave project. Locals Only plans to open to the public in May.
