A proposal to install a Folf (Frisbee-golf) course at Hamilton's Hieronymus Park will become a little more real when city council members, Mayor Dominic Farrenkopf and Frisbee golf enthusiasts will "walk the park" to determine how to set up the course.

The park at the north end of Hamilton, next to the Bitterroot River Inn, is mainly undeveloped, with plenty of open space. Some proposals have included baseball diamonds and such, but worries about high water levels of the nearby Bitterroot River, among other concerns, have stopped those plans. A Folf course has been proposed as a possible alternative use for a portion of the large park.

Mayor Farrenkopf told KLYQ News that interest in the flying disc course has been high and he's inviting other interested people to come to the Saturday walk at 10 a.m. March 10.
