Montana continues to see some of the highest suicide rates in the country, so out of all of the walks, runs and fundraisers you can participate in each year, this is one of the most important.

The annual Missoula Out of the Darkness Walk will take place next Saturday, September 9th starting at noon at McCormick park.

When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Walks, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow AFSP to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss.

The AFSP is the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, and thanks to walkers like you, they have been able to set a goal to reduce the annual suicide rate by 20% by 2025. Get your group together, or enjoy a fun walk with your family while supporting the AFSP, sign up to walk and get more info here.
