Missoula Earth Day Celebration
Earth Day is Monday and we're celebrating this Saturday, 4/20 at MUD, Missoula Urban Demonstration!
This is the 13th annual and I'm telling you, it gets more fun every year. Join us for live music, local beer and beverages, family-friendly activities, and local businesses and organizations focused on sustainability in Missoula. Main stage presentations this year include Animal Wonders at 12:30, Cello Mafia at 2, and Raptors of the Rockies at 3:30. Cello Mafia are sooooo good, the all ages group covers popular songs and I know they've got some 'Groove Is In The Heart' in the mix this year.
It's basically a block party at Wyoming and Russell on the MUD and Home Resource properties from noon to 4 p.m. Two things I want to highlight are the Tool Library at MUD and Earth in Hand. The Tool Library is just that, a lending library of tools large and small, come to MUD for more info. Chuck at Earth in Hand will also be at the party to share info on how he can help with your soil heath and sustainable landscaping, plus, he's just an all around good guy, so seek him out when you get there.
See ya tomorrow!
