Missoula County Public Schools are encouraging parents to fill out an application for assistance if they've lost wages because of the government shutdown.

And as a reminder, families that experience hardships are able to apply at any point in the school year as reduced-price meal are being offered to families in need of assistance.

Families can also register for weekend meals provided by the Missoula Food Bank and their EmPower Pack Program.

Applications can be found at school locations and at the student resource page on the MCPS website.
