MHP Trooper Responds to ‘Get Well Soon’ Balloons on Roadkill

It may be kind of morbid, but you have to admit it is kind of funny. I'm talking about the viral trend of placing "Get Well Soon" balloons on roadkill. It is a trend that has been going on for years, but we still cant help but laugh a little. A Montana Highway Patrol Trooper, recently came across one of these "sick deer," near Elmo, MT. He also took it as an opportunity to remind people about what to do with roadkill.

A good reminder is the balloon and string are plastic, which is non-biodegradable and is littering if you don’t clean it up. MDT can be called to remove animals.
