Former Oasis frontman and current solo artist Liam Gallagher is spilling his guts in the upcoming film, Liam Gallagher: As It Was. Chronicling his life after Oasis, his struggle with fame and the desire to recapture his fan base, the Gallagher documentary debuts Sept. 13, but we’ve got an exclusive clip right now.

“How many people get a second chance?” asks Liam’s partner and manager, Debbie Gwyther. As Liam himself remarks, “It is all about getting the fans back,” which he managed to do with the release of 2017’s As You Were, which hit No. 1 in the U.K. and was certified platinum in Gallagher’s home country.

“Antagonistic, super sensitive, impulsive, very arrogant at times, fearless and more ambitious than he thinks he is,“ Gwyther continues. Liam’s mother, Peggy Gallagher, also offers her take in this exclusive preview: “He’s very thoughtful and he’s very considerate and he’s got a great nature. Especially when youngsters are concerned, family is everything to him.”

“The way he is with me, the way he is with my family, the way he is with his kids and his mum is the reason why I love him,” Gwyther concludes.
