The bleachers were crowded with kids and adults in the annual Hamilton School District Veterans Day Celebration Friday, November 10.

With music by students and words from Brigadier General Dale Stoval and Principal Dan Kimsey, the students saluted the guest veterans from World War II to present day. Five essays were read, written by Hamilton Middle School students.

The Hamilton High School Band accompanied High School choirs singing "The Star Spangled Banner" and the "Salute to the Armed Forces."

There were songs from the kindergartners and first grades and the middle school students, too.

The event started a number of years ago at the Daly School and has grown larger each time. There was a reception in the high school commons after the ceremony.
