Lake County Detention Officer Dismissed for Official Misconduct

Lake County Sheriff Don Bell announced on Wednesday that 25 year-old Korren Fehrenbach, a Lake County Detention Officer from Polson was arrested on April 28 and charged with official misconduct.

Bell said an internal affairs investigation by the sheriff’s office led to Fehrenbach being charged with one count of official misconduct, two counts of transferring illegal articles into a detention facility and one count of unauthorized communication with an inmate.

Bell said that Fehrenbach is no longer employed by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
