Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation Enlists Montana High School
Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, a nonprofit organization with the goal to inspire youth and build better communities, is bringing a Mental Health First Aid program developed in Australia to American schools. Just eight schools in the US were chosen to participate, and one of them is right here in Montana - Boulder's Jefferson High School.
The idea is for the school to take a proactive stance on mental health, and the program will allow students the chance to work with mental health experts to learn about illnesses and addictions.
The 5-week program begins for sophomore, junior, and senior students on April 4th. If the program is successful, the plan is to expand it to other parts of the country.
