There's a whole bunch of Halloween events happening in Missoula this month, but if you've got kids, your options are slightly more limited. I don't picture a ton of children hanging out at Disco Bloodbath, for example. But a lot of family-friendly places in town are stepping up to give kids that Halloween fun, and that includes the folks over at Glacier Ice Rink.

Glacier Ice Rink is holding their 7th annual Spooky Skate on October 20th, from 12 to 2 PM. This is a good event for all ages, and includes skating to spooky music, a photo booth, a costume contest on the ice, and a performance from the Missoula Figure Skating Club. Here's the info from their Facebook event page.

Seems like a great event if your kid can't wait until the 31st to get their costume on - just make sure it's a costume that won't get caught in the skates. Like Edna Mode in The Incredibles says - "No capes!"
