Bauhaus drummer Kevin Haskins will share personal memories of his time with the groundbreaking goth band in Undead: The Visual History and Legacy of Bauhaus. Set to arrive in March 2018, the book includes 315 pages of essays and memorabilia.

Undead was "carefully curated from a largely unseen collection of ephemera and combined with personal recollections by original member and author Kevin Haskins," according to Cleopatra Records, where Undead can be pre-ordered. "This beautiful coffee table book will take the viewer on a visual journey from the bands inception in 1979 through their very successful reformation in 1998, and on to their legendary performance at the Coachella Music Festival in 2005."

In addition to Haskins' stories, Undead: The Visual History and Legacy of Bauhaus also includes photos, contracts, hand-written lyrics, posters, fan club material, a Bauhaus comic strip, band artwork, set lists and more. A standard copy costs $69.98, while a copy signed by the author runs $99.98.

Haskins created a trailer, which you can see above, where he recalls a scene that took place during a gig at Danceteria, a club in Manhattan where Madonna famously got her start. (It was also used as the disco in her screen breakthrough, Desperately Seeking Susan.) Bauhaus were getting heckled by someone in the crowd, and lead singer Peter Murphy returned fire. The heckler eventually made his way up to the front of the stage, and it turned out to be Iggy Pop. He later went backstage and told Bauhaus how great the show was.
