Kalispell Swimmer Completes Double Crossing of Flathead Lake – Helps Montana Kids

Emily Von Jentzen of Kalispell is an amazing human, and not just because of her athletic abilities. Emily is a community minded swimmer who is using her talents to raise funds for children in need.

The name probably sounds familiar to you as Emily made headlines in July for swimming the entire length of Flathead Lake not once, but twice - down AND back. She is wrapping up her incredible 2017 by focusing on a foundation she has launched, the 'Enduring Waves Foundation.'

The mission of the foundation is to help Montana children with medical needs. Emily and her crew of volunteers will speak about the foundation, share the legendary tale of crossing Flathead Lake and answer questions tomorrow, Friday the 13th, at Imagine Nation Brewing, 1151 West Broadway, from 6 to 8 p.m.
