Local fans of the show were psyched to watch a fellow Montanan on Thursday (2/4) night's episode of Jeopardy!. Stuart Crane of Kalispell made it on to the show, and he won!

Stuart was competing against returning champion Nicole Kozdron of Ohio, and new contender Gina Damico of New York. Stuart managed to give the correct question to 25 answers on the board, he was incorrect just 4 times last night. He got Final Jeopardy correct and won the game with $21,800, which means he's on again tonight, so we'll definitely be rooting for him!

Prior to last night's show, I saw Stuart on the KPAX 5:30 news sharing that he's an MSU Bobcat and works as a Product Line Manager at Applied Materials. He said he's been trying to get on Jeopardy! for around 3 years and finally got lucky this year. My favorite thing Stuart shared is that he and the women he competing against were all pretty short, and producers had all three of them standing on risers behind their podiums. While watching last night's episode, I was imagining how stressful it must be to try not only to be the first to ring in, but to also have the correct answer, AND try not to fall off your riser. No wonder everyone on the show always looks so nervous!

Watch for Stuart on tonight's episode, one of Jeopardy's GOATs Ken Jennings is still guest hosting. I kind of assumed he had the job, but a bunch more guest hosts were just announced for the show, including quarterback Aaron Rogers, journalist Katie Couric, and actress (and neuroscientist) Mayim Bialik.
