Popular Store Might Open New Location in Montana Very Soon

Many locals love this store to shop for groceries, clothes, and more, and it's about time Montana got a new location.

Montanans love convenience, and if there is one store that fits that word, it's Costco. Costco is the perfect place to go shopping for all of your needs. Need groceries? Costco has them in bulk. Need new appliances? Costco has everything you need. Tires? You bet!

People travel for hours to visit their closest Costco store to stock up. It makes sense because they can stock up on several goods for months without going to a grocery store consistently.

Right now, there are five Costco locations in Montana. Bozeman, Billings, Missoula, Kalispell, and Helena. These stores are beloved and frequented by locals.

It might seem Montana is due for another Costco location, and it could be on the way.

Eat This, Not That reports Costco plans to open 33 new locations in 2024. Where will they open? Only four store locations have been announced so far. That means 29 new stores haven't been revealed, and Montana could be one of them.

Why would Costco open a new store in Montana? There are a few places in Montana where a Costco would be a welcome addition and a huge need for their communities.

The two places in Montana that are perfect for a Costco location are the cities of Butte and Great Falls. Why? Butte is far enough away from Bozeman and Helena to have their store and have a large population in the surrounding areas that it would see constant business. Great Falls has several communities close to the city that would greatly benefit from a Costco store.

Costco will unveil all the new locations soon, but we would be surprised if Montana didn't get a new one soon.
