Last week the search for a missing 12-year-old boy was ongoing, with ground searches continuing into last Thursday.

The last time Andy Paul Beartusk had been seen was February 21st and the family stated his lack of presence with friends and socials was incredibly odd and out of character for the 12-year-old and prompted them to immediately take action.

This news is so incredibly sad. The investigation will remain open until the family has all of the answers they so desperately deserve and ask for.

Originally the Billings Police Department was considering this a case of a runaway, when the family demanded that it was more than that. Andy was apparently visiting his mother, who lives in Montana, when his family in California pleaded with the citizens of Billings to help them look further.

You can read a statement from Andy's aunt below in the original story.

We send our prayers to Andy's family and hope they receive all the answers they need during this incredibly difficult time.
