Yellowstone Tourist Tries Tasting Dangerous Thermal Water in Viral Video
Honey, get in here. There's another touron acting crazy at Yellowstone.
I just saw a video of a guy getting onto all fours to taste thermal water at Yellowstone National Park.
I mean, what are we doing here? Has this guy never read a single thing about thermal waters? Has he never seen even a single touron do something stupid around the thermal waters?
He thought he should literally wet his beak with thermal waters. As the post above says, the water is scorching hot. There's a good chance of severe burns. The water is toxic as all hell. It's got "arsenic at levels hundreds to thousands of times higher than EPA safe drinking standards." Oh, and you can get fricken Giardia.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Now this guy did get my imagination going. I started thinking, like the idiot that I am, what other things look or smell tasty?
Gasoline. I don't think gas looks appetizing, but you can't deny that fuel smells incredible. If I were an alien who came to Earth, and you presented me with a glass of gasoline, I might try a sip.
Vanilla extract. Okay, vanilla extract won't kill you, and it actually is edible, but the taste does not match how delicious it smells.

Krabby Patty. Let me eat a cartoon Krabby Patty made by SpongeBob SquarePants himself. I'd put down 10 of them. They look delicious.
Thermal waters? Nah, I'm good.
