Don’t Miss a Callie Call at Humane Society of Western Montana

This one's a bit of a head-scratcher, in that she's been there for awhile.

It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana, presented by Paul's Pancake Parlor of Missoula. Katie introduced us to Callie, who was pretty nervous and defensive at first, but that lasted all of about one minute, then she turned into the total charmer she is. Amazing what a chunk of cheese and a good tummy rub can do!

Katie says that the light premature graying is deceptive. Callie is only about 5 years old, and definitely has some black lab in her, but smaller in size than an adult lab. She was originally a stray at another shelter partner and transferred to Missoula April 10, so she's been waiting awhile for her forever home. Now that she's had a little extra exposure, Katie hopes Callie goes quickly, because she is an awesome, playful dog. She's a little barky when you first meet her but settles down quickly and is great in the car.

The shelter is open from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm Wednesdays through Sundays at 5930 Highway 93 South in Missoula

MOTHER'S DAY PROMOTION
